DK Ibomeka has been nominated as top male vocalist for the 2009 National Jazz Awards.
Online voting for the awards, which recognize excellence in Canadian jazz, takes place at the nationaljazzawards.com until April 30.

The awards will be handed out at a Toronto gala at The Fleck Theatre (formerly Premiere Dance Theatre), on Thursday, May 14, 2009 - hosted by Tim Tamashiro of CBC Radio and Karen Gordon, radio host and writer.
